Hi, I'm Monica - a  former professional dancer who pivoted into dance science and S&C after a serious hip injury nearly ended my career at 17...

After my injury, I became obsessed with helping to make sure other dancers never went through what I did, and I realised there was a massive lack of strength & conditioning in the dance industry and that we were years, or decades, behind other sports. Since then, I’ve spent more than 10 years helping thousands of professional and amateur
dancers build strong, flexible, and injury-resistant bodies through evidence-based strength and mobility training.

I created the Effortless Extension program because I know so many dancers struggle to achieve high, controlled extensions with graceful lines. And even the dancers that have extensions that look great are often painful, unstable, forced, or use the wrong muscles, which can lead to serious injury.

I poured 20 years of dance and strength and conditioning experience into this course to help you lift, hold, and control your leg without gripping, compensating, or hurting yourself. You don’t need to be born with naturally great extensions.You just need the right plan to build them safely.

Can I use this if I have injuries?

This 6-week program is comprehensive and progressive, with modifications provided for every exercise and written cues to help you perform each movement safely and correctly. However, if you’re recovering from an injury, it’s always best to check with your physio or healthcare provider before starting. Many dancers use it to rebuild strength and control safely, but individual needs can vary.

Is this a membership or a one-time payment?

It’s a one-time payment of $87 USD. You get lifetime access to the full training program, including all video lessons, self-assessments, bonuses, and the downloadable PDF.

Is it suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely! The program is designed to progress every 2 weeks, starting with more foundational work and gradually building in complexity. Every exercise comes with written regressions (to make it easier) and progressions (to make it more challenging), so you can adapt the training to your current level.

Where do I access the training?

Everything is hosted on LearnWorlds, my online course platform. Once you purchase, you’ll get immediate access to the full program, including video demos, exercise cues, and downloadable resources.

Can I fit this into my current dance training?

Absolutely! Most sessions take just 20–30 minutes, and the program includes 2 workouts per week, each one carefully designed to target the muscles that matter most for extensions. You’ll focus on core strength, hip strength, and skill-specific exercises that build height, stability, and control. You’ll also get clear guidance on how to integrate the training without overtraining in the "How to Use This Program" section.

Do I need equipment?

Not much! You'll need a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, a long resistance band, a loop band, and a set of light weights (especially for the more advanced levels). That’s it, everything can be done at home or in the gym, no fancy equipment required.

How quickly can I expect to see progress?

Most dancers start noticing real changes in 3–4 weeks with consistent practice, things like easier leg lifts, better control at the top of the extension, and reduced gripping or hip tension. Long-term strength and placement continue to develop over time, but this program is designed to help you build those improvements week by week, with a clear, structured approach that targets the exact muscles behind effortless extensions.

What’s the difference between this and free influencer workouts?

Unlike random influencer workouts, this program is built specifically for dancers who want to improve their extensions, not just stretch. Most influencers still focus on passive flexibility, telling you to push deeper into splits or over-split machines… but that’s not what creates high, controlled leg lines.
