Why this training program is DIFFERENT
Most training programs aren’t built for dancers. They either focus on general strength or endless spotting drills, missing the specific control and coordination needed for consistent, balanced pirouettes.
The Pirouette Mastery Plan isn’t about spinning more times or “just practicing.” It’s a science-backed, dancer-specific system that builds the exact hip, core, and ankle strength you need to improve balance, stability, and control, so your turns actually land.
In this 6-week program, we train like dancers: with purpose, precision, and performance in mind. Here’s how:
We train for how pirouettes actually work
Pirouettes aren’t just about balance, they’re about strength, control, and coordination. This program targets the deep hip stabilisers, core & back muscles, and ankle strength that hold your shape and prevent falling out of turns, so you can turn with power and control.
We build real stability and control
You'll strengthen the muscles that support clean, consistent pirouettes: improving pelvic alignment, spotting control, and postural strength, so your turns feel solid from the first rotation to the last.
We keep it practical and effective
You don’t need hours of training to improve your turns. With just 30 minutes a session, twice a week, you’ll build the strength, control, and coordination that actually show up in class, rehearsals, and on stage.
About me...
Hi, I'm Monica - a former professional dancer turned dance-science and S&C specialist after a serious hip injury at 17 nearly ended my career. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve helped thousands of dancers build strong, stable, and injury-resistant bodies through evidence-based strength training.
I created this plan because I know how frustrating pirouettes can be...when you know the choreography, but your turns still feel off. You wobble, lose your spot, fall out of doubles, or feel like you're forcing your body just to stay up.
This program is designed to help you train smarter: so you can turn cleaner, stay centred, and move with precision without compensating, gripping, or risking injury.
You don’t need perfect natural spins or a hypermobile spine to land your turns, you just need the right plan that builds the strength, control, and coordination to support them!

This 6-week program is comprehensive and progressive, with modifications provided for every exercise and written cues to help you perform each movement safely and correctly. However, if you’re recovering from an injury, it’s always best to check with your physio or healthcare provider before starting. Many dancers use it to rebuild strength and control safely, but individual needs can vary.
It’s a one-time payment of $87 USD. You get lifetime access to the full course, including all video demos, self-assessments, and the downloadable PDF.
Absolutely! The program is designed to progress every 2 weeks, starting with more foundational work and gradually building in complexity. Every exercise comes with written regressions (to make it easier) and progressions (to make it more challenging), so you can adapt the training to your current level.
Everything is hosted on LearnWorlds, my online course platform. Once you purchase, you’ll get immediate access to the full program, including video demos, exercise cues, and downloadable resources.
Absolutely! Most sessions take just 20–30 minutes, and the program includes 2 workouts per week, each one carefully designed to target the muscles that matter most for pirouettes. You’ll focus on core activation, strength, balance, and skill-specific drills that improve your alignment and control during turns. You’ll also get clear guidance on how to integrate the training into your week without overtraining in the"How to Use This Program" section.
Not much! You'll need a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, a chair or box, a long resistance band, a loop band, a set of light weights (especially for the more advanced levels), and an unstable surface like a balance pad or cushion for specific balance and control drills. That’s it, everything can be done at home or in the gym, no fancy equipment required.
Most dancers start noticing real changes in 3–4 weeks with consistent practice, things like smoother rotations and better control in and out of turns. You might feel more stable on your supporting leg and less likely to wobble, travel, or fall out. Long-term balance, strength, and alignment continue to build over time, but this program is designed to help you make visible, trackable progress week by week, with a clear structure that targets the exact muscles behind clean, consistent pirouettes.
Unlike random influencer workouts, this program is built specifically for dancers who want to master their pirouettes, not just practice the shape. Most influencers show technique drills like “relevé holds” or “spotting tips,” but without training the deeper strength and neuromuscular control behind a turn, those drills won’t stick. This is a structured, progressive system that targets the actual foundations of consistent pirouettes: deep core activation, hip stability, ankle strength, balance, and coordination. You’re not just repeating turns, you’re training the patterns, muscles, and control that make clean, multiple pirouettes possible.
